Our Walnuts
We are a group of Quakers who have a weekly Meeting for Worship here in Lake County CA. We meet in homes at 11:30 am each Sunday. Please go to the contact page to email Barbara if you
would like to join us for Meeting.
Quakers are known as Friends to each other. We meet in silence to gather into the deep stillness and discern the greater purpose in our lives. In Meeting, we center down into the quiet to experience being led by the Spirit.
Some years our small group gathers walnuts in Fall as a community project. We collect the walnuts, dry them, shell them and sell them. In May, we choose the organizations that we wish to support through financial donations of our walnut money.
